PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a luminaire suppressing the temperature rise of an electronic ballast and having a long life. SOLUTION: An electronic ballast 2 is fitted to a disk-like luminaire body 1 made of a resin molding, and the electronic ballast 2 is covered with a spherical reflector 13 to form this luminaire. The reflector 13 is made of a material having the thermal conductivity higher than that of the luminaire body 1, and a flange 12 on the outer periphery of the reflector 13 is extended in the outer peripheral direction than the lamp diameter of a fluorescent lamp. The luminaire body 1 is provided with hole sections 14 at positions overlapped by the flange 12 in the outer peripheral direction of the position where the electronic ballast 2 is fitted.
