<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make an ETC on-vehicle device small-sized and to improve the operability and reliability. SOLUTION: This device is equipped with a master unit A1 having a radio part 1 which mutually communicates with an external roadside radio communication equipment through an antenna and a slave unit which has an operation part 2, a display part 13, a voice generation part 14, and an IC card reader writer part 10 mutually communication with an IC card 11 and the master unit A1 and slave unit B1 communicate with each other by infrared rays or radio waves. Consequently, the slave unit B1 can be installed in a place out of direct sunshine, and the heat resistance is reducible. Further, the IC card 11 can be installed in a place which is not viewed from outside the vehicle, and theft can be prevented. The master unit can be installed outside even for a radio-wave shielded vehicle. None of wire materials, harnesses, etc., need to be processed, then the installation work is made easy.</p> |
