PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically select optimum image processing condition or image processing means and to correctly recognize the part and photographing direction of a photographed object with respect to a radiation image that should automatically obtain an image optimum to a diagnosis without a complicated operation. SOLUTION: This processor has an object area extracting means 31 extracting an area where an object is photographed about an inputted image, a characteristic extracting means 32 which extracts a plurality of characteristics of the object from the object area extracted by the object area extracting means and prepares a characteristic vector having a characteristic as each element, an object information storing means 36 which preliminarily stores object vectors representing respective characteristics about a plurality of different objects, and a correlation degree calculating means 33 calculating a correlation degree with the characteristic vectors obtained by the characteristic extracting means and the object vectors stored in the object information storing means, and recognizes a photographed object as an object being the same as an object vector whose correlation degree is decided as the highest by the correlation degree calculating means. |
