PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a music retrieving device capable of selecting a piece of music in a comparatively short time even without knowing the title of music by inputting singing or humming of part of music. SOLUTION: This music retrieving device is provided with a microphone 10 for inputting singing or humming, a hard disk device 7 for storing music data for a plurality of pieces of music, ROM4, CPU5 and RAM6, etc., as music data comparing and retrieving means for converting singing or humming inputted from the microphone 10 to digital data by an A/D converter 1, performing signal processing through a digital signal processor 2, matching the data by comaring with the music data for the plurality of pieces of music stored on the hard disk device 7 and retrieving music. |
