WAVELENGTH MULTIPLEXING OPTICAL TRANSMISSION SYSTEM, TRANSMISSION DEVICE AND METHOD THEREFOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wavelength multiplexing optical transmission system which limits a band where a modulation frequency is arranged and suppresses influences by crosstalk noise. SOLUTION: When frequency multiplexing parts 116 and 126 modulate and multiplex a carrier wave by a base band signal which power signal sources 111 to 115 and power signal sources 121 to 125 generate, the modulation frequency is arranged on frequency bands F1 and F2 different from each other and on a frequency band F0 common to all transmission parts. The frequency multiplexing parts 116 and 126 arrange a modulation frequency of a base band signal on the frequency band F0 and arranges modulation frequencies of the base band signal other than that on the frequency bands F1 and F2 different from each other. Therefore, it is possible to limit a frequency band on which the modulation frequency of the base band signal is arranged as a whole and to suppress influences of crosstalk noise generated by crosstalk mixing by the optical signal of wavelengths adjacent to each other in a reception signal.
