PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make correctable an error only by a simple correction operation when an operator erroneously executes a selection key operation in a POS sales registration system using a menu keyboard as an input device. SOLUTION: When an operator executes a key operation for designating a commodity, which contains the depression of a menu key, CPU 101 retrieves commodity data on all commodities allocated to the depressed menu key from a PLU table 108. All retrieved commodity data are displayed on a display device 102 in a display form where commodity data on the commodities designated by the key operation can be discriminated from remaining commodity data being commodity data for correction candidate. When commodity data for correction candidate, which are displayed by the operator, is selected, data being a processing object is changed to commodity data for correction candidate, which is selected, from displayed commodity data. |
