PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary machine with a resolver that can be assembled accurately and easily and that cannot be easily affected by electromagnetic noise generated by the rotary machine. SOLUTION: A resolver 20 is arranged outside a bracket 4 for composing a housing case 2 of a motor 1 for an electric vehicle. A resolver rotor 21 is stuck to an output shaft 8, projecting from the bracket 4 to the left outside. A resolver stator 22 is clamped and fixed to the left outside surface of the bracket 4 with a bolt 28.
