摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a closed loop interference type optical fiber gyro where a scale factor linearity is improved with no degradation in S/N ratio. SOLUTION: A phase modulation signal, where the square wave signal, which is odd-number times of the natural frequency of an optical fiber oil is duplexed with what is even-number times of it, is applied to an optical phase modulator 30 of left-right circular light. A first synchronous detector 621, which operates at the frequency odd-number times of natural frequency and a second synchronous detector 622 which operates at the frequency even-number times of the natural frequency are provided. Based on the component synchronous with the square wave signal which is even-number times of the natural frequency and outputted from the second synchronous detector 622, a first synchronous detector output correction signal which corrects the output of the first synchronous detector 621 is generated, and the first synchronous detector output correction signal is added to the output of the first synchronous detector 621, which is applied to a feedback optical phase modulator 31.
