POSITION REGISTRATION CONTROLLER AND POSITION REGISTRATION CONTROL METHOD IN MOBILE COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a position registration controller in a mobile communication system where a problem of a blowout of leased channels with a small transmission capacity between a small sized base station and a base station even when mobile sets are temporarily concentrated on the surrounding of the small-sized base station and to provide a position registration control method. SOLUTION: A small-sized base station 50 that is in subordinate connection to a base station 30 with a control section 31 to control a position registration request from a mobile unit 70 is provided with a control function 51 that controls only the propriety of reception of position registration. This control function 51 informs the mobile unit 70 about limit information of position registration without making the base station 30 intervene to limit the position registration request from the mobile unit 70.
