PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data file format allowing both sides of a content provider and a content user to derive the contents and related information by easy operation, by realizing a system capable of providing, retrieving and obtaining information on video or music contents. SOLUTION: The data file reproducing device comprises at least a content data part 2 in which video or music contents are recorded as a data file and a header part 1. Information related to the video or music contents is descried in the header part of the data file. It is possible to make access to a server machine on a computer network by using connection information 4.
