PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide electronic equipment operation program correction device and method capable of reducing the area of a packaging substrate without packaging an EEP ROM, reducing a cost and using a CPU (microcomputer) without customizing it. SOLUTION: A CPU 5 for compositely controlling the whole operation of a receiver device controls a main operation part 6 for executing various kinds of operation such as the reception of a radio broadcast. The control is executed by connecting a flash memory 7 storing an operation program, a memory 8 capable of storing a part of the data stored in the memory 7 as development data and a data changing means capable of changing the development data stored in the memory 8 to the CPU 5.
