PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently absorb an impact with a light weight and to effectively perform a protective function of a protective plate to a human body or the like by mounting a surface fastener on one surface of the plate obtained by covering with a laminate obtained by laminating a high strength fiber woven fabric and/or a unidirectional sheet. SOLUTION: The protective plate 1 is formed by covering a laminate obtained by laminating a high strength fiber woven fabric or a unidirectional sheet with a cloth, and an upper surface fastener 2 and a lower surface fastener 3 are mounted on a surface of the cloth. In order to fix the plate 1 to a vehicle, the plate 1 is mounted at an inside of a door 8 of the vehicle by the fasteners 2, 3 or the plate 1 can be fixed to a vehicle door by passing a bent part of a hook through a hole of the plate 1 and inserting a flat surface of the hook to a gap between a window frame of the door 8 and a door body. Here, the high strength fiber is a high strength polyethylene fiber having a tensile strength of 1.7 N/tex or more and a tensile elastic modulus of 44 N/tex or more.
