PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To excite a standing wave in a dielectric and to feed the standing wave to be large. SOLUTION: A dielectric antenna has a dielectric waveguide part 1 formed of a dielectric block 10, a dielectric radiation part 2 formed of one dielectric small block 20 which is installed on the part 1 or of plural blocks which are arranged periodically in the travel direction of a wave, a dielectric reflection part 3 formed of the dielectric blocks 30 of a dielectric constant higher than that of the dielectric waveguide parts 1 arranged on both ends of the travel direction of the wave of the dielectric block 10 in the dielectric waveguide part 1 and a feeding part 4 formed of power supply electrodes 41, 42 and 5 formed in the dielectric block 10 of the dielectric waveguide part 1.
