<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packet switch where collision in its inside can easily be avoided and whose throughput in enhanced. SOLUTION: In the packet switch that switches packets among a plurality of input ports and a plurality of output ports, each input port receives n-sets (n is a plural number, e.g. 4) of transferred packets A, B, C, D in a state of data subdivided into a unit shorter than the length of the packets such as a bit and in a cyclic sequence of the subdivided data (A1, B1, C1, D1, A2, B2, C2, D2,...) and the packet switch transfers a group of received subdivided data (A1, B1, C1, D1, E1, F1, G1, H1) to one output port according to a destination of a packet to which the data belong with an upper limit of n-sets of the subdivided data.</p> |
