PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify changing and returning of operation set states by reading print information on paper and changing the setting of a compound printer into the printed set state, after analyzing the print information. SOLUTION: An operator panel 1 is operated by an operator and makes various instructions to a compound printer 2, and conversely, the printer 2 uses a display panel, etc., and provides information to the operator. A reading means 3 of the printer 2 reads an image, and when the operator sets paper sheet here, the printer 2 reads the information on the paper sheet as an image. The printer 2 stores setting to be an index for an operation inside. The operator instructs to print a list 5 of set states from the panel 1 of the printer 2 or a host computer 6. The printer 2 prepares print data from the internal set states and prints the list 5. Information printed on the paper sheet is read in this way analyzed, and subsequently, the setting of the printer 2 is changed into a set state printed on the paper sheet. |
