<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a projection device having high safety and practicality and its safety device. SOLUTION: This projection device 1 projects an image to a screen 2. When the devices 5 and 6 detect an object in the detection object area, the control part 30 of the device 1 turns off the power source of a lamp unit 10 being a light emitting source and stops the projection. Thus, even when a person looks in a projection lens inadvertently, his (her) eye is prevented from being damaged. Since the detection object area is limited to the local space, a situation that a person who is explaining by the side of the screen 2 is detected and the projection is stopped is prevented. Namely, the projection of the device 1 is prevented from being stopped when it need not be stopped, and the practicality is improved.</p> |
