PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving shaft for characterizing a similar life value while constituting two ball type constant velocity joints of the comparable size by setting opening angles of plural pairs of first ball raceways and second ball raceways in the same direction in both ball type constant velocity joints. SOLUTION: Plural pairs of first ball raceways 18, 28 and second ball raceways 21, 31 relatively form opening anglesα12,α13 for controlling balls 24, 34 in the ball raceways when viewed in the longitudinal direction. Since the opening anglesα12,α13 of the plural pairs of first ball raceways 18 and second ball raceways 21 are constituted so as to open in the same direction in both ball type constant velocity joints 12, 13, while both ball type constant velocity joints 12, 13 have substantially the same load spectrum, a driving shaft 11 for characterizing a similar life value can be obtained while being constituted of the comparable size.
