PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile phone that can automatically change its mode within a limited range without affecting a base station and its service. SOLUTION: A perch channel analysis section 31 of a control section 3 in this mobile phone system analyzes a received perch channel at the reception of the perch channel denoting a signal for measuring a reception level to select a ratio wave received by a mobile phone and checks presence of mode revision instruction data in the perch channel. A control section 3 issues a transit instruction to a power OFF or a manner mode ON/OFF depending on contents of the mode revision instruction data when the perch channel analysis section 31 discriminates the presence of the mode revision instruction data.
