PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrochemical device excellent in a sealing property and excellent in liquid leakage resistance, and to provide a manufacturing method thereof. SOLUTION: This electrochemical device has a casing bag (20) and an electrochemical element (10) sealed in the casing bag (20). The casing bag (20) is made of a laminate film having a metal layer and a thermo-bonding resin layer. The electrochemical device (10) has lead-out terminals 13, 14, confined and hermetically sealed in the outer packaging bag (20) with a sealing part made by thermally bonding the thermo-bonding resin layers and led out through the sealing part to the exterior. Between the lead-out terminals 13, 14 in the sealing part and the outer packaging bag (20), a thermosetting resin layer 41 and an acid-denatured polyolefine resin layer 42 are provide and arranged in this order, from the side of the lead-out terminals 13, 14. A chemical bond is provided between a thermosetting resin in the thermosetting resin layer 41 and a polyolefine resin in the acid-denatured polyolefine resin layer 42. |
