PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a commodity information display method for making a person who requires information viewable information on the spot by giving information on the commodity in a special form at every commodity and to provided an article with the commodity information used for the method. SOLUTION: In the method for displaying commodity information in a store, information to be displayed on a commodity is previously given as a two-dimensional code 1 to a commodity or an article for store installation, which is associated with the commodity. The two-dimensional code 1 which is given to the commodity or the article for store installation is read by a two-dimensional code reading means installed in the store. It is displayed by picture display or sound display or is displayed by printing display by using a printing means.
