PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily transmit and receive data by using a small-sized, low-cost device and to stably communicate data without being restricted by the fitting position of a data transmission device nor the distance between a data reception device and the data transmission device. SOLUTION: This equipment has the data transmission device 1 provided with two transmitting electrodes 10 and 20 in contact with a human body, an oscillation part 30 which generates an AC signal, a modulation part 40 which modulates the AC signal according to data to be transmitted, and a voltage application part 50 which applies the voltage corresponding to the modulated signal modulated by the modulation part 40 between the two transmitting electrodes 10 and 20, and the data reception device 60 provided with a receiving electrode 60 which receives the modulated signal outputted from the data transmission device 1 as the human body comes into contact with it and a demodulation part 70 which demodulates the modulated signal received through the receiving electrode 60.
