PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize an autofocusing function which is hardly affected by the condition of an object (for instance, the luminance of the object). SOLUTION: Luminance information meaning the luminance of the object is generated by a luminance signal generating part 17, and the amplification characteristic of an amplifying part 15 (the amplification factor of a low frequency component and the amplification factor of a high frequency component) is decided based on the luminance information by an amplification propriety deciding means 18. An AF signal supplied by an AF signal generating part 16 is amplified and is supplied to an AF part 14 in accordance with a decided amplification characteristic by the amplifying part 15. The position of a moving lens 104 for focusing is adjusted based on an amplified AF signal by the AF part 14. |
