<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a device small-sized without requiring any object image separation wall by projecting an image of a subject astride another image pickup area adjacent to one image pickup area and controlling to photoelectrically converting the image signal from the subject in the other adjacent image pickup area. SOLUTION: Subject lights which are made incident on a photographic lens from three circular apertures exit from three lens parts of the photographic lens to form three object images on a solid-state image pickup element 120. The element 120 has three image pickup areas 120a, 120b, and 120c corresponding to the three object images. Image circles 51a, 51b, and 51c where the object images are formed have overlap parts. On the three image pickup areas 120a, 120b, and 120c, optical filters 53a, 53b, and 53c are formed and further optical filters are formed in the range including the three circular apertures completely. Thus, the multiple optical filters are used for the pupils of image pickup optical system and the image pickup element.</p> |
