PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To permit a user to normally and easily perform access to the most frequently used function in a prescribed period without the necessity of a complicated manual operation by automatically generating and updating a personalized menu based on a frequency for activating the function. SOLUTION: The personalized menu is provided with functions connected to the single function. One possible example of a graphic interface of the connected functions is indicated in such a way that a previously selected are related option is displayed in a window 62 to be adjacent to the main window 60 of the personalized menu when the 'program guide' of the connected functions is selected. Whenever the user activates the functions, an access counter of the functions is increased via the hierarchical menu interface or via the personalized menu and, then, the date and time of the final access to the functions are updated. |
