PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the quality faults of a transformer due to damages to insulation papers. SOLUTION: A transformer 30 for microwave ovens comprises a first core 31, having a coil insertion 31a opened at one end, a plurality of coils 32, 33, 35 mutually electrically insulated and inserted in a coil insertion 31a, a second core 36 coupled with the first core 31 for shielding the opened part of the coil insertion 31a, and a single resin molding 39 formed so as to wrap the coils 32, 33, 35 as a whole.
