PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a digital broadcast receiver that displays a performer list that is easily understood by a user even when no kana (giving the pronunciation of a Chinese character) information is added to performer information. SOLUTION: The digital broadcast receiver is provided with a demultiplexer means 102 that demultiplexes video data, audio data and program information data from a digital multiplex stream resulting from multiplexing a plurality of information data including a plurality of video data, a plurality of audio data and a plurality of program information data or the like, a program information analysis means 103 that analyzes at least interested party information and one or more sets of program attribute information relating to a program from program information data demultiplexed by the demultiplexer means 102 and relates them to each other, a program interested party information edit means that receives an output of the program information analysis means 103 to classify the program interested party information from the program attribute information and a program interested party information by program attribute exhibit means that exhibits an output of the program interested party information edit means on a monitor, which receiver displays the program interested party information by the program attribute information.
