PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a structure of a liquid crystal module for a notebook computer adaptable to a thin model, a narrow frame, measures for EMI and various interfaces necessary for a liquid crystal display device for a notebook computer. SOLUTION: In the structure of a liquid crystal module 10 with a nearly quadrangular TFT liquid crystal part 18, a gate substrate 12 and a source substrate 11 loaded with a control circuit and an interface circuit which drive the liquid crystal part 18 and disposed on mutually adjacent sides of the liquid crystal part 18, the interface circuit is put on an I/F control substrate 1 comprising a small substrate separate from the gate substrate 12 and the source substrate 11.
