PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide uniform fixation and fixed glossiness by constituting a fixing means by a pair of roller-like fixing members press-fitted to each other, independently detecting the temperatures of the respective fixing members and controlling the press-fitting pressure of the pair of the fixing members corresponding to the detected temperatures. SOLUTION: A fixing device is constituted of a pair of the roller-like fixing members that are a first fixing roller 17a which is the fixing member on an upper side and a second fixing roller 17b which is the fixing member on a lower side respectively provided with a heater in the inside. Then, in the pressurization control of the fixing members, the temperature T1 by a temperature sensor TS1 for detecting the temperature of the first fixing roller 17a and the temperature T2 by the temperature sensor TS2 for detecting the temperature of the second fixing roller 17b are measured. Then, an optimum pressure corresponding to the temperatures T1 and T2 stored inside the ROM of a storage part beforehand as a reference table is referred to through a fixing control part and a pressurizing motor M1 is rotationally driven so as to pressurize with the optimum pressure. |
