PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make an in-phase synthesis circuit and a circuit detecting a phase difference to be common. SOLUTION: An in-phase/phase difference detection circuit has mixers 6 and 7, a local oscillator 13 supplying a local signal to the mixer 7 belonging to a reference system, a voltage-controlled oscillator 12 supplying the local signal to the mixer 6 belonging to a follow-up system, filters 8 and 9 connected to an output terminal outputting the intermediate frequencies of the mixers, a first phase comparison means 10 comparing the signal phases of the reference system and the follow-up system based on the outputs of the filters, a phase control means 11 controlling the voltage control oscillator according to the phase difference information that the first phase comparison means detects and locks the signal phase of the follow-up system to that of the reference system, a power synthesizer 14 synthesizing the intermediate frequencies that the mixers output and transmitting a synthesis result to an in-phase synthesis output terminal 15, a second phase comparison means 16 comparing the signal phases of the local oscillator and the voltage control oscillator and a low-pass filter 17 inputting the output of the second phase comparison means and transmitting phase difference information to a phase difference output terminal 18.
