Road transport vehicle bodywork comprises underframe covered by rigid casing riveted to it using lateral sections

Bodywork has underframe (2) covered with rigid casing riveted to it using a pair of lateral sections (12,12'). Sections each have longitudinal rigidifying rib directed towards inside of frame. Rib is arranged above floor plane and forms seat on which corresponding edge of casing base rests. By this means the useful casing bottom volume is increased by a width equivalent to thickness of each of walls. An Independent claim is also included for the lateral sections.
