PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information recording medium driving device capable of surely unloading and ejecting a small-diameter information recording medium while being prevented from engaging in an internal mechanism even if a part thereof falls in from the opening part of a loading tray. SOLUTION: A guiding member 55 is formed in the position of the offset side of the opening part 35 of a loading base 1. Thus, even when a small- diameter optical disk D falls into a gap between a loading tray and the receiving surface 5 of the loading base 1 from the offset side of the opening part during movement in an unloading direction, the falling side of the optical disk D interferes with the guiding member 55 during the movement in the unloading direction, it is then moved in an ejecting direction by being placed in a more horizontal state along a medium loading surface while being forcibly moved near the center. Thus, the optical disk is surely ejected without fitting into the internal mechanism such as the gear of a gear unit 8.
