The invention relates to an orthopaedic screw for variable angle connection to a longitudinal support for osteosynthesis, in particular, pedicle screws for implantations for correcting and stabilizing the spinal column. Said screw has a threaded foot (2) for screwing into the vertebra (3) and a screw head (4) for fixing a longitudinal support (13). The screw head (4) has the shape of a semi-sphere comprising a frustum (6) with a threaded hole (5), said frustum (6) and threaded hole (5) arranged at an angle to the longitudinal angle (9) of the threaded foot. A clamp (11) can be fixed to said frustum (6) by means of a screw engaging the threaded hole (5) providing a mounting (12) for the longitudinal support (13). |
