PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To give both the effect that the battery of an on-vehicle telephone system is prevented from being consumed by powering OFF the device when the device is left in a vehicle as the driver gets off the vehicle and the effect that the state of the use in the vehicle is maintained to enable origination and termination when the device is carried when the driver gets off the vehicle. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a control circuit 12 which controls a switch 22 so as to power OFF the device when detecting the device being mounted at a specific position for a specific time when an ignition switch is turned OFF and does not perform the power-OFF control when detecting the device not being mounted at the specific position within the specific time.
