<p>A telecommunications system for receiving from a telecommunications unit a request for data from a target network address, the system comprising: request means for receiving the first request and transmitting a request for the data to the target address; and response means for, on receiving the data from the target address, transmitting the data to the telecommunications unit; and wherein the request means comprises completion means for, if it is determined that the request to the target address is not satisfied: attempting to establish communication with the target address, and if it is determined that such communication is possible transmitting an indication to the telecommunications unit.</p> |
