PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the procedure for input from becoming complicated even if a customer uses a commodity discount coupon and a total discount coupon. SOLUTION: A registration commodity information storage part storing sales information on a commodity which is sales-registered as one transaction and a discount coupon information storage part storing discount information on a discount coupon used in one transaction are installed. When the total output of one transaction is indicated by total key input, discount information is read in the order of the commodity discount coupon and a total discount coupon from the discount coupon information storage part. When discount information on the commodity discount coupon is read, it is checked whether sales information on the commodity being a discount by the commodity discount coupon object exists in sales information stored in the registration commodity information storage part. When sales information exists, the sales amount is discounted with discount information of the commodity discount coupon. When discount information on the total discount coupon is read, the total amount of one transaction is calculated and the total amount is discounted with discount information of the total discount coupon.
