The invention relates to a ball screw, comprising a spindle, a nut (2) which surrounds said spindle and balls (5) which are located between them. Said balls are arranged in such a way that they can roll in a screw groove configured in the outer surface of the spindle and in a corresponding screw groove (4) configured in the inner surface of a nut (2). The ball screw also comprises radial through openings (8) in the nut (2), in which deviating pieces (6) are placed for guiding the balls (5) back from a run-out end of a common thread of the screw groove to a run-in end of said thread, respectively. According to the invention, the nut (2) is configured in the form of a single-piece sleeve with a circular cylindrical outer cover (9) and each deviating piece (6) that is introduced is located fully inside the outer cover (9) in the corresponding through opening (8) of the nut (2).
