High-throughput screening of compounds using electrospray ionization mass spectrometry

摘要

A high-throughput screening system employing electrospray ionization mass spectrometry (ESI-MS) to investigate the interactions of between small molecules and polynucleotides and monitor small molecule:polynucleotide complexes, thereby allowing valid mechanistic interactors to be distinguished from false positive signals. ESI-MS may also be used as an early-stage toxicity screening tool.
