The bag closure device is for fixture of a self-adhesive tape around the neck of a bag. The outer ends of the strip of adhesive tape are covered by a strip of paper. The device comprises a housing (1) with a through passage slot (5), a roll of self-adhesive tape (11) and a roll of paper tape (13). Rotation devices (15) with a shaft (16) rotatably support a star wheel (7) and hinge devices (23) with a hinge shaft (24) support a blade holder (22), which has a cutting arm (25) with a blade (26) and an operating arm (27).
