<p>A mounting system (10) for affixing a holder, such as a cell phone holder, to a surface such as the interior of a vehicle. The mounting system has a base (12) to which the holder is attached by means of an adjustable arm (40). The base (12) is affixed to the surface by one or more support assemblies (52, 56) each of which has flexible feet (59) that conform to the mounting surface and which are adhesively or mechanically secured to the surface. The pad assemblies may be vertically adjustable and located in knock-out areas for removal if mechanical fasteners are to be utilized to secure the base to the surface.</p> |
