The invention relates to a method for obtaining sorted synthetic materials from old mixed synthetic materials (A). The method contains steps for purifying old synthetic materials using water or solvents and steps for thermoplastically sorting synthetic materials. The method is improved by carrying out drying and tempering for the thermoplastic sorting (C) in a device (8, 9), after the old synthetic material has been purified, in such a way that the heat input is used for drying as well as sorting. After the thermoplastic sorting (C), the synthetic materials are treated by rolling out the heated and partially still soft synthetic material components (E) in a belt press, nips or by means of a nip roller (19) that acts on a belt, in such a way that said materials form a rolled sheet which is then supplied to a hole punching machine (20) or a cutting roller such that granule-like particles are obtained as the product (F). A homogenising melt phase is not gone through for plastification. |
