<p>The invention concerns a method for obtaining homopolymers and/or copolymers in aqueous solution using phosphorous acid and/or its salts or sodium hypophosphite and by neutralising during polymerisation ethylenically unsaturated monomers by continuously adding firstly bases such as sodium hydroxide, potassium hydroxide or lithium hydroxide, then alkaline-earth bases such as calcium hydroxide, magnesium hydroxide, calcium oxide or magnesium oxide. The invention also concerns the polymers obtained by said method and their uses.</p> |
