<p>The invention discloses a new kind of human angiotensin II-1 receptor proteins and polynucleotides encoding the polypeptides and a process for producing the polypeptides by recombinant methods. It also discloses the method of applying the polypeptides and polynucleotides for the prevention or treatment of various kinds of diseases, such as cardiovascular disease, coronary heart disease, essential hypertension and non-insulin dependent diabetes. The antibody and antagonist of the polypeptide and the therapeutic use of the same is also disclosed. In addition, it refers to the use of polynucleotides encoding novel human angiotensin II-1 receptor proteins.</p> |
