The silencer includes a resonator casing (10) of rounded, preferably circular, cross section, fitted concentrically round the air charge tube (13). The intermediate walls (15) are orthogonal to a set point of the common longitudinal axis of the induction and air chare tubes and the resonator casing, so that the resonator chambers are circular in shape.
