<p>Novel proteins; novel genes encoding the same; plasmids or transformants containing these genes; a process for producing the above proteins; cells containing the above novel proteins or cell membrane fractions of the same; a method and a kit for screening agonists or antagonists to the above novel proteins; agonists or antagonists to the above novel proteins; a method of treating or preventing diseases caused by the deficiency or excess in leukotriene B4, hydroxyeicosatetraenoic acids or hydroxyperoxyeicosatetraenoic acids; utilization of the above agonists or antagonists; and antibodies against the above novel proteins or fragments of the same. These novel proteins involve novel receptors of human leukotriene B4, hydroxyeicosatetraenoic acids or hydroxyperoxyeicosatetraenoic acids and functionally equivalent modifications thereof.</p> |
