The invention relates to a method and a device for blow moulding containers from a thermoplastic material. The container is produced from a tempered preform and by means of blow pressure effects. A container contour is given by at least two blow form segments within a blowing station. The blow form segments can be tensioned in relation to one another under the effect of a pressure medium on a pressure chamber which is separated into at least two partial chambers in such a way that at least one partial room can be impinged upon by the pressure medium independently from the remaining partial chambers. The pressure impingement is controlled according to a variable of the containers to be produced.
