<p>An air cleaner including a first photocatalyst carrier (26) for carrying a photocatalyst which cleans air on receiving a light irradiation, lamps (12) for illuminating the carrier (26), and receiving members (17) for receiving the lamps (12) between the ends thereof via the carrier (26). The carrier (26) is housed in a compartment (20) of a body casing (15) and sandwiched between the lamps (12) and the inner end (21) of the compartment (20). The receiving members (17) may be projections (24) erected on the inner end (21) of the compartment (20).</p> |
