The filter plate (1) includes a press membrane (2) with an edging (7) round it. The edging is welded to a support wall (5). The edging has free cuts (8) running crosswise on the side facing away from the support wall. There is a filtrate groove (9) between the edging and the plate frame (6) projecting over the level of the support wall.
