The invention relates to an injection nozzle (1) in which a nozzle needle (5) has an annular groove(8) at the bridge (7) between the pocket hole (2) and the seat of nozzle needle (4). The presence of said annular groove (8) lowers the tolerance of the flow resistance of said injection nozzle (1) when the nozzle needle is partially lifted (5) and enables more exact measurement of the amount of fuel injected to be measured with greater accuracy.
