Golf club shaft

The invention relates to a golf club shaft made from two parts. The shaft is designed to dampen vibrations and stabilise the club head. The golf club shaft includes a first member having a first end located at the butt end of the golf club shaft and a second end positioned towards the distal end of the golf club shaft. The shaft further includes a second member secured to the second end of the first member and extending to the distal end of the golf club shaft. The first member is formed from a rigid material offering mechanical consistency and the second member is formed from a vibration absorbing material which absorbs undesirable vibrations.
