The air intake system has at least 2 series throttle plates, with an initial calibration throttle plate, having a solid cylindrical or a tubular surface, controlled by a pneumatic or electronic regulation logic, for fine adjustment of the air intake quantity fed to the engine, in conjunction with the mechanical throttle plate controlled by the depression of the accelerator pedal.
